My name is Christopher Haynes. I would like to be a professor of ethnic conflict, comparative politics and comparative war. I am writing a book called "Hearts and Minds: How the Public Legitimises War".
I also write a blog: the Menso Guide to War, Conflict and World Issues, at menso.wordpress.com. My analysis of politics and conflict combines understanding of culture, history, psychology, business and economics, and makes them understandable to everyone.
I am interested in ethnic conflict, the cultural and religious roots of war, human nature and war, interculturalism, human security, identity politics, political culture, international political economy, using economics to solve the world's problems, eliminating poverty, cognitive and evolutionary psychology, human geography, world history, languages and ending drug prohibition.
